Coach Jurgen Klopp (55) joked.

Liverpool FC is ahead of the match against West Ham United in the 33rd round of the English Premier League (EPL) in the 2022/23 season to be held at the London Stadium in Newham, Greater London, Greater London, England on the 27th (Korean time).

At a press conference in preparation for the match against West Ham held two days before the game, Klopp was asked a question about manager David Moyes (60). Coach Moyes was put on the verge of being fired due to poor league results. However, the crisis is over as they recently rebounded in the league and reached the semifinals in the UEFA Conference League.

According to the British media ‘Liverpool Echo’ on the same day, Klopp said, “If West Ham had sacked Moyes, I would have become the oldest manager in the Premier League! Since then, I have wished Moyes good luck. You have to stay on stage (laughs)!” 스포츠토토

He added: “(The above is a joke) Manager Moyes is the best teammate! West Ham are a good team and they have shown quality again recently. It will be a difficult game for us.”

As Crystal Palace appointed manager Roy Hodgson (75) until the remainder of the season, Klopp could avoid being the oldest manager, apart from Moyes’ move. However, the fact that Klopp is among the aging managers gives a glimpse of the eight years he has been with Liverpool since 2015.
