In the final third round of the tournament held at Printemps Ete (par 72) at Daeyu Montbert Country Club in Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do on the 25th, Kim Young-cheol shot a 2-over-par 74 to reach the top with a final total of 2-under-par 214. Lee Ju-seung, Son Ki-min, Jang Myeong-deok, and Kim Yang-kwon recorded 1-over-par 217 strokes side by side, but ranked 2nd to 5th according to the countback score.

This tournament, held in three rounds of 54-hole stroke play, is a national title tournament established in 1993 to expand the base of golf and determine the best mid-ama. It is hosted by KGA and Chammaru Construction.

Kim Yeong-chul took the lead by hitting 3 under par 69 in the first round, and reduced one more stroke in the second round to lead the game on the final day alone. On the last day, the second place group pursued fiercely, but won the wire-to-wire championship by three strokes.

Kim Young-chul, who qualified for the 65th Kolon Korea Open to be held in June with the win, said, “I’m happy to win the national title event, and now that I’ve earned the right to participate in the Korea Open, I want to prepare hard and achieve good results.”
