The 2023 DP World Tour Korea Championship (Korea Championship) sponsored by Incheon City and the Incheon Tourism Organization will be held at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea located in Songdo, Incheon from the 27th to the 30th.
The DP World Tour,메이저놀이터 co-hosted by the Korea Professional Golf Tour Co., Ltd., is considered one of the two major golf tours in the world along with the PGA Tour.
The winner of this tournament, with a total prize of 2.6 billion won, will be given a prize money, DP World Tour membership, and an opportunity to participate in the 2023 Genesis Scottish Open.
Major participants in this tournament include Rasmus Hogard, winner of the Omega European Masters in 2021, and Robert McIntyre, who finished third at the 2023 HSBC Abu Dhabi Championship. Including, 156 top players in the world will compete fiercely.
The city has designated Sheraton Grand Incheon and Holiday Inn Incheon Songdo as the official hotels for the event, as it is expected that 20,000 spectators, players, officials, and visitors will visit this event. DP World Tour, the organizer of the event, provides a 30% discount on admission tickets for Incheon citizens when ticketing on-site, and expects this event to be a festival venue that many visitors, including citizens, can enjoy.
