GOLFZON Sponsors 6 promising golfers “We will raise them to become the world’s best players”

GOLFZON sets out to foster professional and amateur golf prospects who will enhance the status of Korean golf on domestic and international golf tours.

Golfzon (representative directors Park Kang-soo and Choi Deok-hyeong) held the ‘2023 Golfzon Sponsor Signing Ceremony’ at the Korea Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 12th, and Kim Seung-min (23), Yoo Hyun-jun (21), Lee Woo-hyun (20), and Dangela Chanel (14. Italy), Lee So-yoon (15), Kang Yeon-jin (11), and six other promising golf players.

Golfzon supports the six players selected this time for up to five years, and the selected players will receive systematic training at the 메이저놀이터 Golfzon Led Better Academy (GLA) in Orlando, Florida, USA from this winter and challenge to advance to the world stage.

Kim Seung-min, the eldest of the sponsored players, is a former national team player who turned pro last August and is a promising player who finished third in the Korea Professional Golf (KPGA) Korean Tour Woosung General Construction Open.

Yoo Hyun-joon wore the Taegeuk mark this year, and Lee Woo-hyun was selected as a standing army.

All female players were made up of junior players in their teens. Lee So-yoon won the middle school championship at the Gyeongbuk Golf Association Cup and Gyeongbuk Governor Cup golf tournament this year, and Dangela Chanel, born to an Italian father and a Korean mother, swept the Daejeon Mayor Cup and Daejeon Golf Association Cup. Kang Kang-jin is 10 years old this year and is an elementary school student.

Golfzon has been sponsoring domestic golf prospects since 2017. Kim Seong-hyeon (24), who successfully advanced to the PGA Tour this year through the Japan Professional Golf Tour (JGTO), and Kim Dong-eun (24), who won the KPGA Korean Tour Rookie of the Year last year, were sponsored by Golfzon.
