Figure skating men’s single Lim Joo-heon wins silver medal at Junior Grand Prix 4th competition

 Korean figure skating men’s singles Lim Joo-heon (Suri High School) 토토사이트won a silver medal at the 4th competition of the 2023 International Skating Union (ISU) Junior Grand Prix.

Lim Joo-heon scored a total of 142.57 points, including 70.40 technical score (TES) and 72.17 composition score (PCS), in the men’s single free skating at the ISU Figure Skating Junior Grand Prix held in Osaka, Japan on the 15th.

Lim Joo-heon, who received a total score of 217.95 points, including the short program score of 75.38 points, ranked second after François Pitot (France), who received 219.86 points.

Lim Joo-heon surprised international figure skating fans by winning a prize at his first ISU international competition. Lim Joo-heon climbed to the podium by succeeding in both the short and free skating triple Axel jumps (three and a half turns).

Jae-Geun Lee (Suri High School), who also competed in the men’s singles, ranked 6th with 193.43 points.

In women’s singles, Hwang Jeong-yul (Sangmyeong Middle School) and Han Hee-soo (Seonil Girls’ Middle School) ranked 5th and 11th, receiving a total score of 172.42 and 145.65 points, respectively.

In ice dance, the pair of Jinni Kim and Namoo Lee (Gyeonggi Provincial Skating Federation) ranked 10th with a total score of 120.90 points.

Since the start of this year’s Junior Grand Prix competition, Korean figure skating has been recording its highest ever performance, winning medals at every competition. The number of medals won by Korean figure skaters in the 1st to 4th competitions was 2 gold medals, 3 silver medals, and 4 bronze medals. It is expected that additional medals will be won in the remaining 5th to 7th competitions.
